Data module

How does the Data module work?

E-Toolbox Data enables you to analyze operational data across the enterprise. It efficiently and effectively manages following information:

Waste; Freshwater; Wastewater; Energy (Electricity; Heating; Fossil fuel usage); Material usage and production; Travel

It is possible to analyze data in seconds within the tool with drag and drop, groupings and filters. The data can easily be transformed into all kind of diagrams and exported to many standard formats even setting up a printable designed report within the software.

CO2 reporting: To all data types the scopes and CO2 equivalents can be defined and with this the CO2 calculation can be generated automatically and analyzed within the software.

Master data

Function: Master data is defined as data which is not a time event, rather giving definitions of events, which can be

later defned based on the master data information. It describes a state, which is defined once and is not changing frequently.


1.1 Material

The materials master data can be used to define materials produced or materials used during the business operations.


Example: A good example is the paper usage in a company, where the user has to setup the main information connected to this item, l

ike who do we order it from (procurement), where is it used and what kind of information are we collecting about the item (ex.:pcs, kg)

in what inervalls (yearly, quarterly, monthyl). This information will be used by the event instance describing the actual paper usage for a given period.














1.6 Waste

The waste master data is the place to define all waste types, like paper waste, mixed communal waste, hazardous wastes.












2.1 Material

In material usage it is possible to define how much materials (like raw materials, products, semi-finished materials, materials)

were used or produced at the given place for the given period.













Function: Queries and reports help to analyze the data in the system. The data can be grouped and seen from many different angles.

All information can be exported to Excel for further work. Some reports need to be predefined, so if any reporting format is missing the consultants can be of help.























3.7 Chart wizard

Function: The chart wizard can be used to analyze and drill in the data using graphs.





3.8 CO2 report

Function: The CO2 will be calculated based on the event data and the CO2 factor for a given period of time.




3.13 Trend analysis

Function: To show yearly aggregated trends or changes within the year.
